How ChelScan Calculates World of Chel Team Rankings
ChelScan grades every scanned World of Chel club from A+ down to F, so you can size up an opponent's team strength at a glance.
What ChelScan scans
When a lobby is scanned, ChelScan detects the club name for each team and looks up the club's EA NHL Pro Clubs record — total wins, losses, OT wins, OT losses, division and recent games. Those numbers back the team grade.
How the team grade is calculated
The main input is the club's win/loss ratio. Wins and OT wins count as wins, losses count as losses, and ChelScan compares them on a log scale so a 10:1 club is clearly separated from a 2:1 club.
The result is mapped to a letter grade from A+ down to F. Fresh or barely-played clubs land near the bottom until they have a real record.
A+ to F team grade rubric

| D | 0.75:1 to 0.99:1 | Just below .500. |
| E | 0.40:1 to 0.74:1 | Losing more than winning. |
| F | < 0.40:1 | Struggling club. |
Why it matters
Team grades make it easy to compare clubs, pick your next opponent, and know when you're punching above your weight. Combined with player grades from the same lobby scan, you get a complete picture in seconds.
